Description

• As a Senior Business System Analyst, the individual will create an effective contact between the business stakeholders and technology by translating business needs into technical system concepts and specifications.
• Senior Business Analysts are responsible for the optimization, expansion, and automation of documentation, tools, and communication of process, and providing support to Product Management and Business partners in the management of deliverables.
• As the interface between business applications, he/she is also responsible for providing a high level of in-the-box thinking services with full functional knowledge of all aspects of operations in their business area.
• The candidate gathers the User's requisites to analyze, synthesizing, and prioritizing to identify the solution.
• The Sr. Business Systems Analysts should have strong problem-solving skills.
• They must be comfortable with identifying root cause and resolving the issue in a timely manner by working with vendors and business.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Complete project assignments in research, analysis, design, coding, testing, troubleshooting and implementation of systems
• Complete assignments on schedule, meeting operational and performance requirements
• Interact with business users to gather and verify business requirements from formal and informal sources.
• Conducts business requirements meetings and discussion, communicates, simplifies and validates requirements to be used in future and external interaction sessions.
• Collaborate with developers and subject matter expert(s), designing processes into main complex problems considering business requirements
• Ask probing questions to have a full understanding of the scope and size of the work as well as coming up of pitfalls.
• Organize review sessions with business sponsors other stakeholders and IT Development
• Pursuant quality of all relevant documentation, including fit gap analysis documents, and the various work tracking documents to plan and staffing adjustment to maintain commitments.
• Roadmap mapping, solution design, data documentation/data flow, implementation review documentation according to Silk methodology
• Owns project specifications for similar projects one way
• Estimating have-in or building data driven business applications.
• Participate in creation of requirement and support the beta or a minimum viable project that offers options
• To capture, test and document any bugs and glitches, bugs or other issues into bug database that affect systems.
• Participate in integration specification and prototyping of code as necessary for IT style documentation
• Interact with the business users cross functional contacts, making them aware of the impact on the project
• Production support and new development activities
• Maintain banking applications in production and support all issues required to resolve production issues in a timely manner
• Support the change-management process by documenting changes, including roll-out of changes in the project deliverables
• Ensure that performance and quality of products conforms to established company standards, guidelines, specifications and codes requirements.
• Provide back-process structure support and maintenance and maintain systems standards with other systems (SILK, processes, procedures, and standards)
• Conduct testing, follow-through and support of any required IT issues, technical solutions and bug fixes (SILK)
• Complies with any compliance & reporting operational procedures, including FCPA, laws, codes and regulations, and as much best internal best practices
• Operations will seek money laundering and Bank Secrecy Act-related policies, laws, codes and regulation, and as much best internal best practices

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Science, Computer Engineering or other technical field required
• 10 years of experience in banking or financial services industry preferably in Private Banking
• 3+ years of experience in third-party software package upgrade, implementation or support, debugging & resolve difficulty
• Experience on core banking systems implementation/enhancement/coding that interfaces with a number of banking system, such as portfolio management system, AM, customer origination, asset management, IB,
