Aufgaben

• Influence information strategy by partnering with business & IT stakeholders rationalization of the information value chain & providing strategic recommendations
• Develop conceptual and physical data models as well as flow diagrams to illustrate current and future state architecture
• Analyze project, program and portfolio needs, as well as determine the resources needed to achieve objectives and overcome cross-functional barriers.
• Act as subject matter expert on all aspects of the data architecture, including data orchestration, large data processing, security & scalability
• Evangelize modern data approaches & technologies as well as Cloud architecture across the organization
• Guide and mentor development teams on modern data engineering & design best practices
• Establish good data modelling principles and effective data quality standards
• Strong communication and persuasion skills, including the ability to create marketing and messaging materials that meet stakeholder needs.

Anforderungen

• 10+ years of experience building distributed data and analytics platforms in cloud and hybrid environments.
• Deep understanding of data warehouses, lake houses & streaming solutions in Azure & Snowflake
• Expertise in Data modeling using dimension modelling & data vault methodologies
• Strong hands-on expertise in database & query performance tuning SQL queries and database best practices
• Strong experience with modern data engineering technologies such as python, Spark, Kafka, Airflow
• Hands-on experience working with relational and NoSQL technologies (such as Oracle, Postgres, Mongo DB, etc.)
• Experience with Devops and CICD technologies (such as Github Actions, Docker)
• Experience in financial industry or banking is a plus

• Salary Range: $114,500 -194,700 USD
