Sr Manager / IT Service Management - IT Asset Management Controls

Job Responsibilities

• Manages one or more teams; develops department plans and priorities to meet short-term service and operational objectives
• Serves as the control point of contact for Control Owners across the Technology and Service Management Business and IT Asset Management organization
• Responsible for ITAM (IT Asset Management) and Control self-assessment testing to ensure IT assets in the IT operational controls are in place to provide state of control remediation activities
• Partners with the leaders of peer organizations to design and develop cross-functional, horizontal processes/controls supporting technology and change management
• Maintain an effective network of controls across all areas of Technology and Information Infrastructure (TII), Technology Infrastructure Project Management Office (TIPMO) portfolio loads, technical MEAs, and assets to proactively monitor and oversee strategic, technology, and MEAs; provide technical MEAs and assets to proactively monitor and oversee strategic, technology, and MEAs; provide technical MEAs and

Key Responsibilities

Control Owners' Forum

• Maintain adherence to standards and adherence to standards and controls needed by the ITAM/ITFM organization in particular
• Develop an in-depth understanding of the various moving parts and how they interrelate to the Control Owners' forum
• Identify and document all information assets within the Control Owners' forum

Control Design

• Determine ownership and proper placement and assignment for issues
• A subset of the Control Owners' forum that identifies risks/issues, assesses mitigating controls, documents standards, examples, project teams, and creates governance structure

Automated Issue Management

• Evaluation; escalating, resolution, and adherence of issues to be addressed through automation to the root cause; all related data to be uploaded to ServiceNow as IT Service Catalog items
• Assist in writing play and implementation plans
• Partner with Control Owners to identify and document control design and operating effectiveness around staff, contractors, consultants, partners, and service providers around the IT service delivery processes/guidelines

Reporting

• Support First Line Control Officers in providing timely information on status to key stakeholders (CFO, CICO, etc.) and obtain necessary buy-in
• Support First Line Control Officers in monitoring issues with upcoming due dates and/or related regulatory requirements; follow up with Control Owners on progress to ensure transparency on status of IT Control Remediation
• Escalate any issues downgraded or on A/R list within 90 days of due date to First Line Control Officers

Solution Management

• Track status, timeliness and escalations
• Identify and communicate system changes within the greater infrastructure team and Executive Management to ensure all driven risks are addressed proactively
• Mentor progress and completion to goals
• Facilitate escalation process with formal notification and approvals (where required) to management team
• Make decisions and escalate to resolve obscure disparity
• Confirming solutions with accurate root cause and executing testing

Requirements

• IT Service Management: evaluation; escalating, resolution, and adherence of issues to be addressed through automation to the root cause; all related data to be uploaded to ServiceNow as IT Service Catalog items
• ITAM (IT Asset Management): maintaining accurate information about the ownership, maintenance, and risks of information technology; IT assets to support business requirements
• At a minimum, Control Officers and Risk Officers are responsible to identify and assess risks and to manage risks to acceptable levels
