Team-Head Legal Entities / Client Data Management Office

Your Role

The Client Data Management Office is looking for an experienced CDP expert to support our new J. Safra Sarasin. The candidate will be responsible for the integration and administration of client data and documents in the banking system. The candidate will lead its Legal Entities team, which is responsible for reviewing and processing client documentation and client data, ensuring data completeness and correctness throughout the lifecycle of the clients in the Bank.

Your Responsibilities

• Leading a team of Client Data Officers, responsible for Legal Entities
• Reviewing and processing all account openings from Legal Entities and ensuring the quality of the filed documents
• Act as the point of contact for our Relationship Managers and provide guidance on account opening standards and documentation gaps enabling them to further develop their business
• Act as the bridge between the Bank's different stakeholders including Front, Legal, Compliance, IT to ensure aligned interests
• Leading Projects to improve the Bank's processes and tools as well as standardizing documentation requirements in line with CDD regulation and CDD directives
• Support the Bank in its continuous move from manual, paper based client files to digital onboarding
• Managing physical and electronic static data throughout the life-cycle of a client
• Ensure excellent client relations and satisfaction as well as handling escalated issues promptly and effectively
• Developing deep understanding of the Bank's processes, products and services

Your Profile

• Banking apprenticeship or relevant degree
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience in Private Banking, preferably as Onboarding Specialist, Onboarding/Client Data Manager or Client Data Compliance Officer
• CDD Expert, specifically in the area of Legal Entities, with in-depth understanding of the CDD regulation, CRS, and FATCA/QI obligations
• Strong prioritization, organization and analytical skills are essential
• Reliable team player with excellent communication, interpersonal skills and hands-on mentality
• Creating a productive environment for the team
• Demonstrated ability to take ownership, perform well under pressure and set priorities
• Fluency in English and German
• IT affinity, experience in working with Avaloq is advantageous
