Treasury Operations Specialist
Als Treasury Operations Specialist bei der Bank J. Safra Sarasin in Basel verantworten Sie die End-to-End-Kollateraloperationen, das Lifecycle-Management von Derivaten sowie die Reconciliation und Berichterstattung für die Treasury-Abteilung. Die Position erfordert 3–5 Jahre Erfahrung im Treasury-Bereich, fließende Englisch- und Deutschkenntnisse sowie die Fähigkeit zur cross-divisionalen Zusammenarbeit in einem agilen Team.
Your Role
- As Treasury Operations Specialist at Bank J. Safra Sarasin you are part of a unique group environment where domestic and international cross-divisional collaboration meets global impact.
- As a key member of a small, agile team, you will drive dynamic Treasury operations ranging from Cash-Management, FX, Money Markets, Repos, and Securities Lending & Borrowing (SLB) to safeguarding our cash-balances through the precise monitoring and reconciliation of active positions across international markets.
Your Responsibilities
- Support of our main trading desk for all Treasury related tasks
- Execute and manage end-to-end collateral operations, including bookings, payments, and reporting
- Manage the full lifecycle of Interest Rate Swaps (IRS), Cross-Currency Swaps (CCS), and Credit Default Swaps (CDS)
- Oversee OTC Derivatives risk reconciliation processes and deliver timely reports on regulatory controls and critical business indicators to internal stakeholders
- Analyze and clear outstanding reconciliation discrepancies until fully resolved
- Foster cooperative, goal-oriented collaboration with Internal Operations teams and business divisions across Switzerland and international markets
- Assist the Department Head with the management of key projects and urgent ad-hoc assignments
Your Profile
- Professional education in business or economics or completed apprenticeship within a financial services firm
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in Treasury
- Sound interpersonal skills paired with a high motivation and flexibility to work in an exciting, challenging and dynamic environment and willingness contribute to our team culture
- Ability to organize and prioritize your own work
- Occasional assignments on Swiss bank holidays in alternation with team colleagues
- Skills in Trioptima, Markitwire and Avaloq is an advantage but not a must
- Fluency in English and German is required
