Job Description

The role involves various responsibilities related to investment services for clients.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Identify investment opportunities to share with clients constantly
• Proactively participate in the investment idea generation process while interacting with other members of the investment team
• Liaise with products, portfolio solutions, trading desk and structuring team to find the most adequate investment vehicle
• Participate in Client Prospecting meetings in order to present the service and the latest investment ideas
• Assess client suitability at both product and portfolio level
• Register client orders and execute them directly or using the trading desk
• Ensure trading procedures are properly executed and that compliance policies are followed
• Business trips for in person meetings with prospects and existing clients
• Compliance with Anti-Money Laundering and Bank Secrecy Act related principles, laws, rules and regulations, as well as related policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics or related field
• MBA or CFA is preferable
• Series 7 and 57 required
• Experience in global markets and products (Fixed Income, Equities, Derivatives, Mutual Funds, Foreign Exchange and Structure Products, Alternatives and Hedge Funds, Structure Notes)
• 7-10 years of experience in Private Banking or Financial Industry
• Fluency in Portuguese or Spanish
• Self-motivated team player with solid communication skills
